Tasty cheap wings. I’ve been to coopers numerous times. A good percentage of the time the friends and I would go and have the wings because of the .45/wing special. We’ve gone there enough times to know the waitress and she acknowledges our faces. The wings are great taste wise and price wise, cannot go wrong with .45 wings. The wait time for the food to arrive can be long at times but we’ve gotten used to the this fact. This is a usual spot for great times with friends and good cheap wings. You will just have to endure the long wait times for food.
Went there last night. Nice Irish Pub , food was great, waitress was friendly, quick service – would recommend.
I’ve been going here since high school just for the .39 cent wings. If it weren’t for the decent wings I would be. The waitresses if you’re lucky enough to get their service are rude. The wait to get your order to the waitress and then to the kitchen and food back to you is ridiculous. Waited 1 hour and a half just for 50 wings. All in all if you’re looking for cheap decent wings this is the place but the service will kill you.
I just read Veggieboy’s review and couldn’t help but add my $0.02. We went to Cooper’s last Saturday and had what will be our last meal there. The place is pretty dirty to begin with, but during Leafs games, the wings are $0.39. This is a well publicized fact there, although the waitresses will push the pitcher and wing deal ($20.99) on you before offering the straight $0.39 deal. On this visit, however, we weren’t allowed to buy wings for the deal rate. We were told by our server that bc there was to be a pay-per-view boxing match that night, the offer wasn’t being honored. It was 7:30pm at the time and I tried to explain that we were there to watch the game and planned to leave long before the boxing broadcast started (the security guards at the front door, assumeably there to police the place once boxing started told us the fight broadcast was to start at 9pm). We weren’t getting anywhere with our waitress so we relented and settled or full-price wings and nachos. What a mistake. Take note: wings are the ONLY good menu item here. The nachos were a joke. Hardly any cheese at all. I mean very minimal. They were loaded with canned jalapeos and not much else. A total waste and certainly our last visit. In closing, if you want decent wings and lousy service while watching lousy old tv’s that look better while your wearing 3D glasses, then this is your place.
Disappointing. Good food, terrible service. They had a deal for when the leafs were playing. There was 10 min left in the game and they wouldn’t let us purchase the deal.Been there several times, always neglected. We only go there because of the food (whenever we actually get served) and the TVs.
