I tried Grill chicken with its peri-Peri sauce which is really very delicious and I want taste it again n again. I went there couple of month ago so I don’t it’s price but definitely whatever they charge, it deserve for that.
Years back I had Galito’s for the first time and was amazed by the flavorful seasoning of their peri peri chicken but I will NEVER be returning again. I ordered the $36 meal and a veggie burger to go when I got home I discovered my potatoes were cold as if they just came out a freezer. I decided to call as I waited a decent amount of time for what I expected to be well done food I don’t know who I talked to which must be new as he tried to explain that they had put sauce on it that didn’t make sense I retorted and the truth eventually came out which was they claimed they cooked it and put it back in the fridge. Clearly they had leftovers from the day before and forgot to warm them up I expect fresh food when I eat out doesn’t matter if it is to go especially for the price and the chicken lacks now slightly burned. Lastly the rice just bland the garlic bread was the only good thing what a shame they were once great.
Similar to Nando’s only their chicken is much more spicier, like burning! Peri Peri fries were fine only not enough peri peri Overall it was good experience and not busy at all
I would pay double. I’m surprised on how good the quality of food is here. Been driving by for a year wondering about it so glad I decided to stop in and try the food.

Nope. The wings we got were tiny and tasted like freezer wings. It was slightly burnt and though the spices would’ve been good, the burnt-taste and small size took away from it. The rice was gross so we didn’t even touch it.
Good Food with Different Spices. Had no idea what Galito’s was all about until I went in one day. Interesting back story about the peri peri spices from the east coast of Africa and how Galito’s started in South Africa.This is not like Swiss Chalet or St. Hubert’s chicken. Because of the different spices and menu options, Galito’s gives you something different. First time I had chicken prepared like this and I enjoyed it. Peri Peri fries were also quite good.The restaurant itself is also clean and well maintained.
