HK Style. We dropped in for lunch based on nothing more than it being a Chinese restaurant and we were hungry and driving by at lunch time. The place looks a little run down. Of the two menus we received, mine had pages missing, so I didn’t realize they had baked spaghetti until my wife ordered it. I chose the beef brisket and tendon in soup with noodles. The baked spaghetti was a little too tart in taste, but otherwise fine. My brisket and tendon was done perfectly. I would definitely return for that dish again.
Saturday night dinner. We went last Saturday for dinner based on the reviews and it didn’t disappoint. We ordered the beef and Chinese broccoli, Cantonese chow mein, and sweet and sour pork. Portions were large and delicious. We even had left overs. Three adults and two kids ate for $40. Great deal. It was also packed with Asians, always a good sign. Will go back again.
Food and price are great.. I love the Seafood and Tofu soup.I would highly recommend Macey’s.07 Sep, 2013Best Chinese food in Mississauga. So far, the best.Sea food soup is great. The food is good and service is good.
Friendly service, super casual dining, delicious fresh food! Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My sister, myself and my mother can split a Cantonese Chowmein and Snowpea Tips in garlic and be full. Huge portions. If you eat calamari anywhere else, Maceys has them beat, try the salt and spicy squid, incredible! For any vegetarians, I recommend the stuffed eggplant with green peppers.
Great Basic Canto Dishes, Good Value, Not for Fancy Night Out Though. I love this place for basic cantonese dishes – mostly the rice, noodle that sorta thing. I don’t find their dinner menu executed too well however. If you want to have stir fry noodles, fried rice, some simple veggies and such for dinner then it’s ok. Just don’t expect to have excellent cantonese dinner dishes here. It’s great for lunch, and a very casual dinner. Good prices, excellent efficient service.06 May, 2012Solid Cantonese Food, Fast and Efficient. Good and authentic HK style cantonese food. Not fancy, but tasty. Service is fast and efficient. Price is right and portion is generous. Good steamed egg custard dessert too. I love it!
Simple but good Cantonese food. My family has been going to this place for years. It’s not a fancy place but it provides consistent solid lunches at affordable prices. We often get Yeung Chow rice, a few noodle dishes, and a big bowl of Juhk (congee). It always comes quickly, fresh, and with good amount of meat and vegetables. The snacks (deep fried bread surrounded by the rice noodle) are tasty and freshly made. I can’t complain! Our entire family can be stuffed full for less than $30.
When will it opene again!!!. We love this place but it’s been closed for soooo long! ANybody know whenit will re-open!?
