Came here for lunch. Great service. Got a junior eggplant parm and upgraded to a combo with a chicken noodle soup for mycoworker and a water. Also, I got a separate salad/soup for my other coworker… and it was all served pretty fast. They are fairly busy (as it was lunch hour) and a lot of people come here from the school next door (Metalworks). Hence the reason why Drake has been here and has vouched for them also, as he frequents Metalworks (yes in Mississauga) when he’s in the 6. They are quite popular- and this is definitely the hipper location as opposed to Toronto (probably because all of these famous music people frequent it). The eggplant parm itself was perfect! Just the right portion for a ‘junior’. I get it plain with just the cheese and the sauce is fine. My coworkers enjoyed their salad/soup. It appears as though there is only one size for soups/salads as they are meant to be sides only. So if you are getting just a salad opt for a soup also to keep you full! The good thing is the dressing was on the side! The place is very clean. Reasonable prices also! Will return.
On a bun sandwiches were surprisingly delicious. I ordered the regular-sized Eggplant Parmesan Italian sandwich. The bread was super soft and the eggplant was perfectly battered and tasty. Not much seating space to dine, however great for a quick lunch.
The veal sandwich was amazing!! I’d like to say that it was one of the most flavourful parmesan sandwiches I’ve ever had. I will definitely go back to try other menu items.
