Ordered a Chirashi Sushi lunch special on the weekend. The sashimi was fresh, but the rice was pretty nasty. The rice was too moist with vinegar, and the there was so much salt sprinkled on top of it that the rice tasted bitter.Service wasn’t great. Got one cup of lukewarm green tea and couldn’t even find a waiter/waitress to get a refill so t hat I could rinse some of the salt from my mouth. The fact that the chefs can’t even figure out how to prepare rice properly is pretty disastrous. Definitely will not return.

The service really sucks….. Me and my friend goes their often but every time we go the service sucks more and more I won’t recommend it..
I use to love going to Sushi Tei…but recently I notice their service is very poor. You have to wait very long for a sever to come to you and the server seem to keep rush through you order…Now I don’t feel like going any more…
I really like Sushi Tei, however the sushi prices are high.
Excellent Quality and Service. Terrific staff and the food is fresh and large. They provide complimentary app’s to keep you busy while waiting on your order and the prices are reasonable in terms of quality. They don’t do all-you-can-eat because they actually deal in quality and not quantity. Excellent sushi, best in the city.
Great Place!. We decided to visit Sushi Tei as we had a craving for sushi. We walked in and were greeted right away by our host. The restaurant itself was very nicely decorated; it looked like an authentic Japanese restaurant. We were seated near the kitchen and given menus. We didn’t have to wait too long before someone came to ask us what we wanted to order. We told them that we weren’t ready yet and to come back in a few minutes. About a minute later, another server came over and asked us if we were ready. We said the same thing to that server. Then after that, yet another server came and asked us the same thing. We were getting a little annoyed at that point, especially since we weren’t ready to order. Finally, when we wanted to order, we had to flag someone down. We settled on the seaweed salad, beef noodles, soup, and philadelphia roll. The great thing about this place was that we were given complimentary items to start, such as kimchi, salad, and other small items. We were happy with this addition. Within ten minutes, all of our food arrived. The food was fresh, delicious, and large. We were very happy with what we had ordered. The service was also great throughout the meal; the servers came and filled up our water glasses and asked us how we were doing. Our total came out to $40 which was worth it considering all of the food that we got. We will definitely come back again!
