CHEAP, DELICIOUS, and GOOD. I love going here for a late brunch/early breakfast (mostly). The food is simply delicious. A good kick start of the day or late night dinner. Congee, fresh fritters, warm soy milk (large) to share. Classic breakfast/brunch… if you live around the neighborhood and you’re out of ideas where to eat…Come, eat here and bring your family/friends because the portions are sharable.
Good basic food at good prices. Congee is good, with good variety of congee. RIce rolls made to the right texture. The condiments on the table go well with the rice rolls. I tried one fo the fried rice (chinese sausage with some vegetables) is tasty, but the shanghai noodle stirfry was way too salty. Beef brisket noodle soup was good one visit but just ok on another visit. Long donut is better than the sweet cruellers. Overall, this place is authentic, and at good prices.
Delish. Had the rice roll with donut stick, beef delicacy with turnip, and sweet chinese donut.Rolls were delicious, rice roll and donut stick made fresh to order. Only thing was for me not enough sauce was on it. Next time Ill just ask for more sauce. Beef delicacy had tripe and I believe it was lung. They were fresh (not too gamey) and sauce was amazing. Perhaps too much turnip and not enough tripe/lung for me. Sweet donut was thick, fresh and had nice aroma as mine was made hot and fresh for my order. Service was really friendly, my server speaked limited English but wasnt much of a barrier as she understood basics.
Good rice flour rolls. Loved the beef rice flour rolls and the deep dried dough to go with the congee though the congee didn’t have too much taste to it.Service is okay but be sure to clean your tea cup, bowl, plate and cutlery before using it. I doubt they use a dishwasher to wash their dishes as you’ll find food pieces on the cutlery and dishes
