  Just went last week because we are away all summer. Tremendous has changed management and NOT for the better. Portions are smaller, prices are higher, staff is inattentive and rude. They even have the nerve to charge a 15% gratuity for their lousy service. Was once a great place for Dim Sum, but the new owners seem determined to put themselves out of business. .

  Bad service, 10% service fees? For 2 people?the food was average, avoid the beef. Terrible service, we have been charged 10% service fees for two people dinner. This is unacceptable.

  At a set price of $2.40 per dish (with some exceptions) – that’s a really good price! The quality of the food was pretty high up there, despite trolley service. I see the little ladies, manning the carts, lift up the bamboo lids before entering the tabled area so that patrons can sneak a peek before committing – that’s pretty nice of them. The vested employees are also very helpful in bringing you the condiments you need…

  Came here back in the day when I was a carnivore and I enjoyed the meat spring roll very much but I wasn’t a fan of the house rice due to the green peas and onions which left an odd flavour in my mouth and I thought the chicken balls were a little dark but still ok. I was kind of sad there was no fortune cookie in my bag when I got home. Today I went back as a vegetarian and I was disappointed that they did not have vegetable spring rolls. Their fried vegetable noodle was everything I wanted though! Limited broccoli I noticed however. I did enjoy the fact that there seemingly were no bean sprouts and if there were they had the exact same texture as noodle so I couldn’t even tell. That’s a win for me because I can’t stand when noodles are like 50% bean sprouts and crunchy at that. The sweet and sour sauce I paid for on the side could have been a tad bigger but not too small I guess. All came up to 12.00. They only accept cash for 12 dollars or less but they rounded it up to 12 so I can pay with visa. I think it was like 11.50 or something and I didn’t really want to buy anything else. The service was awesome. The washrooms were clean and I was very amazed at the heated wall in the women’s room it’s so random but the coolest thing ever! The wall is actually super hot ! Parking is a little tight. Big bright spot seems busy and I appreciate the fact they are open until 4 am. I will have to come and dine in one day and try a variety of the dishes. The portion was huge btw enough to feed 2 or 3 people. Worth the money portion and quality wise. The sweet and sour sauce was good too. I noticed yet again I received no fortune cookie even though it’s free but luckily I asked and they forked it over :p hated the fortune I got in the cookie though.

  A no-frills authentic Chinese restaurant which is open till 4am ! Now how can you complain with that . I had one of those dumpling cravings after watching Kung fu panda 3 (how can you not). And it was satisfied and how! I had the har gau, shark fin dimsum , pork buns and pork fried rice.. To name a few. My friend had the fried snails which he claims to love. Next time I’ll try one of the Duck items and maybe he’ll try the frog legs.

  Cheap Dim Sum!. We had come here on a Sunday afternoon at around 12:00 pm for dim sum. When we walked-in, we were approached by a man in a suit, whom we assumed was the manager. He asked how many people would be dining, and we mentioned three however, we told him to wait for a few moments as another guest was on his way. When we were ready, the man came back up to the front, and seated us at a table near the front of the restaurant. The entryway of the restaurant was quite small, with not a lot of room for standing as there were other people waiting for a table as well. Also, the restaurant itself seemed a bit outdated, with paint peeling on the walls; possibly a renovation will be needed in the near future.Once we were seated, we were brought our tea pots immediately, along with place-settings for our meal. We noticed that the space between the tables was minimal, making it difficult to walk in-between the tables. Once we had received our tea pots, we noticed that the ladies with the carts began coming to our area, shouting out the various food items that were on their carts. As each cart came by, we settled on a few different items.Some of the items that we settled on included Fried Shrimp Rolls, Congee, Tripe, Pork Buns, and a few other items. Most of the items tasted delicious however, the only thing was that they werent too hot (temperature-wise). They tasted as though they were sitting out for quite a bit of time, which made me disappointed as I usually like very hot (temperature-wise) items. I thought it was great how the congee was served, with extra peanuts and pepper, which is what the lady had asked if we wanted. Also, they seemed to speak more English at this dim sum restaurant then any of the others that we had been to. I enjoyed that the ladies came around often, making it a point to come by our table when we looked interested in an item. However, our tea pots were often left empty, which made us thirsty at times.Once we were finished our meal, we asked for the bill, which came out to $37.60 for 13 items, which was split between three people. Also, it took quite a bit of time to get the managers attention in order to ask for the bill. This is definitely something that needs to be worked-on by the management staff in the future.We thought that $37.60 was a fair price considering all of the items that we had ordered. We were told that the atmosphere of this restaurant during the day is much different than at night, when it tends to be a younger crowd. I would be interested to check this place out at night to see the different in food quality and service. All-in-all, cheap food with pretty attentive service, with some minor things that need to be improved upon.

  Greedy dirty managers desperate for tips – gave them 4 tries recently and they struck out.. My mom would take me here when I was a child sometimes, I have moved back to sauga and thought I would be a regular here but my last 4 visit were horrendous.. 1st visit: As others noted, they give preferential treatment for chinese senior, I was in line and waited, a family of chinese seniors came in behind me and got seated first as the guy pointed to them to come forward? I looked at the guy like wtf. noticed they still have the SAME dirty carpet from years and windows are filled with dead bugs, if the front is dirty, imagine how dirty the kitchen is….2nd visit: I ordered beef shui mai, they brought me beef balls, I told (the same guy) I didnt order it and told me beef shiu mai and beef ball are the same …again I was like wtf no its not, he tried to cover their mistake by assuming I was ignorant to dim sum.Also it is painfully clear that owners/managers KEEP THE TIPS, as it is bizarre that the manager was more eager for tips then the waitress3rd visit: Take out order, they have a special 2$ cash and 2.20$ debit/visa on all dim sum take out. The guy tried charging me regular price, I told him what about the special, he angrily said no more special, I thought then why is the sign still up. So I left. 4th visit: Got take out for noodles (about 12$); she gave my change back on a trey, I grabbed my bill first, and the within seconds she pulled the trey back with change without giving me a chance to get it..I was like wtfLuckily I discovered that Oceans- TnT have great and cheap dim sum take out so I get my dim sum fix there from now on.
