Food was cold and service was disgusting…. My family and I went to this location today for lunch. We waited at the front for 10 minutes for someone to come greet us. When they finally greeted us they said that it would be a 40 minute wait because they were really busy(half the restaurant was empty and there were a lot of employees there). Then he said we could have the buffet instead. My father was hungry and wanted it anyways so we said ok. We then sat ourselves and grabbed plates and went to the buffet. They food was cold and sparse. Not only that but nobody came to take our drink order. They instead left the bill on our table as we were on our first plate. I’m sorry but I have worked in the service industry for many years and I understand a slip in service when busy but they weren’t even at capacity and they had adequate staff. Would not recommend this place to anyone! 0/5.
Sitting here at Trio just ate winterlicous 2013 dinner menu. Had the split pea soup to start. It was a good soup. The potatoe hash was a nice touch. Came out luke warm. Main I had bison meatloaf. Nothing special to be honest. Tasted like a regular meatloaf. The gf said it tasted like a hamburger lol. For dessert was a yummy carrot cake. It was worth the $25 bucks 🙂
In fairness I didn’t get to eat here so i can’t comment on the food. They had a huge sandwich board advertising a menu fixe for $25. That drew me in. The small print? It doesn’t start for 3 weeks. WTF? I had already ordered my beer so I was stuck paying or that but the bait and switch really annoyed me so I opted to not eat there. The manager is either dumb or slimy for advertising the special so largely when it’s not available. Regardless, I felt scammed.
Delicious. Pros: Cesar Salad, Malaysian Chicken Curry, Service, Wi-FiCons: I did not foundOn a Good Friday around 2:00 PM, the restaurant was almost empty probably because the city was empty too. Said that, we could select any place to sit and wait for our food. The place is very clean and the menu was not fancy enough and offers any kind of food for different levels of taste. The waitress was a very nice and friendly person. She was always aware when my soda needs refill. The place is very clean and calm. It is a very nice place to have a business dinner or just a quiet place to eat. This time, my wife and I decided to eat a Cesar Salad with Chicken and a Malaysian Chicken Curry. Where both food presentations makes me wanting to eat them with the eyes.Overall, it was a very nice experience. I never thought that a coconut flavored food could be so good. Just as a personal touch, the only thing that I could change is cutting the chicken in pieces instead of having the whole chicken breast there. But, is how I said, it is only a personal touch. It is not something that made my experience worst. I left the restaurant with the feeling that I want to back again many more times.
Great place. Wonderful decor and good food at a good price
I very shocked there isn’t more reviews and likes for this resturaunt. I live in Mississauga but am staying at this hotel for a week. I wish I was stayin longer so I could try more items on the menu. The food is pretty much fine dineing at a regular resteraunt price. The presentation is amazing. And quality is unlike any resturaunt I’ve been to in the city. I would highly recommend this place!
