Sad Demise!. We have ordered from Renforth for 24 years and been satisfied; but no more. The fish is tough and the batter not great. We now go to McNee’s.
Never again. Had been consistently good for 20 years and through a couple changes of ownership, but was terrible today. Portion of halibut was noticeably smaller, was tough and fishy. Fries are still very good but not enough, and the price is up to $11.00, lunch for two with drinks and coleslaw was $32.00. I wondered why it didn’t seem very busy when I got there, I guess others are finding the same thing. Too bad…
Disappointed. We’ve been going here for many years, and I’m not sure if they changed ownership, but the fish was terrible. It was over cooked and soggy.Plus, they increased their prices, for a dinner for 4 we paid $60.00!Too bad. Won’t be going back for sure.
Good quantity of bad food. Fries tasted days old
Haddock with fries and coleslaw …. Perfect every time…. Just get there before 7pm and enjoy
Halibut and chips. Mmmm!
