Remarkably disappointing. The ambiance is somewhat cute as a place obviously opened in the 70’s and hasn’t been touched since. Servers are charming but the prime reason for a restaurant is it’s food…..and here lies the disappointment. Portions are small, lukewarm and over priced. The pasta was store bought and over cooked (that’s sacrilege in an Italian restaurant) and the sauce was nothing to write home to Nonna about. The kicker was that 3 out of 7 of us were sick as dogs within an hour of dining there. I gave it a 1.5 rating for the well intentioned servers who smile each night, serving this stuff.

Excellent and authentic Italian food – worth repeated visits. Truly excellent Italian food. Fresh and well prepared. Service is professional and friendly. We found this place by accident last autumn and have been coming back about every three weeks or so because we prefer it to all the other Italian restaurants we used to go to. The veal with gorgonzola mushroom cream sauce is perfect. Every pasta dish we have tried there has been very satisfying, especially the lobster linguine in a rose sauce. The (complimentary) bruschetta is about the best I have ever had at a restaurant. The 70’s decor adds to the charm of the place. I wouldn’t change a thing about this place.

Amazing veal & great staff. My husband and I go out for dinner here every once in awhile, especially for special occasions, and we have never been disappointed. The veal Gorgonzola is our favorite dish and it is amazing! So delicious and fresh. The staff here is so very kind and friendly and very professional. We had an altercation about parking with another Italian takeout place in the plaza (Lenny’s lasagna, terrible terrible place & the rudest staff) and the staff here went out of their way to make us feel welcome and smooth everything over, thank you for that. You are courteous and have the proper respect for your customers that other places terribly lack. Thank you for a great evening and as always some very delicious food 🙂

Love trattoria Leonardo. My husband and I have been going to this restaurant for quite a few years. We both love the food, the service and the staff. From the moment you open the door to enter the restaurant we are greeted by a polite hostess, and we are taken care of all the way to the minute we leave. It is also very reasonable . I recommend it to all!

Fabulous service – attentive staff. Loved the food; fresh pasta and homemade sauces were delicious. Great value for dollar.

Would not recommend it. It’s not authentic, it’s not Italian, it’s not anything!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!!! Anyone writing positive reviews of this place obviously has no idea about Italian cuisine or has a conflict of interest. I got sucked in by a well written ad. Beware!!!
