During my stay around the city I visited a few places, this one was good however the noise levels really disrupts your dining the prices are moderate for the food. better sound proof is needed.
Very good food but mediocre atmosphere. Very noisy and higher priced. Never had a bad meal.
We went to the Caribou for dinner on Mother’s Day. It was overpriced and noisy. There are better places to eat in Thunder Bay.
This is a very good, but pricey place to dine. Perhaps the best in Thunder Bay, but the reputation exceeds the reality – it’s the biggest fish in a very small pond. In any major city, Caribou would be no more than an average high-end restaurant.
Awesome, awesome, awesome! Easy to find expensive Restaurant, but it is not easy to find a restaurant where trained chefs show what they can do. This restaurant is worth every cent!
This may very well be the nicest place in Thunder Bay. The service is very nice and it has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The one issue I did with it, and I’m a massive food snob, is that the menu is a bit… Well…. 5-10 years ago. Crazy sauce lattice patterns, bought-in frites, seriously old school. But hey, it’s still decent… Maybe a bit on the pricey side forWhat it is though…
I now understand. This was recommended and now I understand the talk. I had the crab cakes and trout. Excellent! Nice wine list.
