I tried Daytona’s years ago and it wasn’t that great, but since it went under new management it is awesome, don’t let the poor curb appeal deter you.07 May, 2015Poutine. 60th birthday. I recently celebrated my 60th bday at Daytona’s. We arranged a menu with John for a set price and then invited 60 people along. I was concerned as to whether or not we ordered enough food and the assortment. We could not believe the quality of food presented and the amount. Both, were phenomenal. The service was fabulous and the price was outstanding. Need I say more. Thanks to John and staff for making my bday a memorable one.
Lunch. I love your restaurant, your waitresses are wonderful, helpful and so friendly. We had Valerie today. I took my son to lunch (he has an hour). I arrived at 12:25, he arrived at 12:30. We were greatest promptly and our order taken within 5 minutes. From there……not such a great experience. At 1:00 on the nose I asked my waitress to check on our order which she did nicely and she had to check several times, always coming back to us to update on order status. Valerie apologized profusely on several occasions. Our food arrived at 1:14 (a Daytona Burger with fries which were cold and a grilled chicken on a bun). Ladies at a table near us were there before I arrived and got their food at virtually the same time as we did. Something must have been amiss in the kitchen? In any case, I was disappointed with a very rushed lunch and of course my son was going to be late for work! I had suggested your restaurant because I had been very satisfied on 2 other occasions. My son told Valerie that he would return as well. A Q&A review might be in order as we were, as I said, not the only ones who had a lengthy wait for their food. Respectfully, Linda Williams.
Excellent food – great breakfast spot- friendly and efficient service in a bright, open setting. Highly recommended!
