I used to love going to this place for Bn Tht Nng (noodle bowl), so when I moved back it was my first stop for Pho. Sadly it wasn’t very good. The broth was too light and watery. The server also forgot to bring my tea and other beverages. Seems to have dropped in quality.

Bun Thit Nuong is AMAZING. The Golden Wok is nothing much to look at. It is located in a rougher part of town, and the interior needs some serious updating. That being said, the owners are super nice, and the Vietnamese food is some of the best in town. The Bun Thit Nuong (the noodle bowl) is one of the best I have ever had. It is well worth the trip to go there.They also serve authentic vietnamese iced coffee, and their spring rolls are really awesome and seem to be homemade.

Delicious. A little hole in the wall, nothing elaborate, but the food is fantastic. The noodle bowls (Bun Thit Nuong) are delicious. Very addicting. Service generally very courteous. Its nice to go for supper and have a great meal that won’t break the bank.
A Gem…A True Gem!!. This small family owned and operated Asian restaurant is the best in Thunder Bay and one of the best in Canada.Features authentic Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. All cooked perfectly to order with fresh ingredients. Friendly helpful service. Clean, secure environment. Very moderate prices wih ample size options. Located in an older part of town. Less than imposing exterior but extremely comfortable interior. A hiden gem of a restaurant. Good for solo, couples or family dining.
