My sister’s boyfriend treated the family for dinner. So its disheartning when the food quality and portion size are poor. Again a cold pasta meal was served. A puney steak with mushy veg and 2 tbsp of small strange-tasting pots. The ribs were a hit with my hubbie, but overall most of us were dissatisfied with the meal. Prices aren’t the cheapest or dearest but i could still cook a delish steak or fresh pasta at home for half the cost. Won’t be returing here again. Go somewhere else guys. 🙂
Awful!. So I went to Applebees about 4 years ago, and correct me if I’m wrong but I remember it being a pretty good place. I went the other day with my parents and boyfriend. Mine and my mom’s pasta dishes were almost cold, seemed like they were sitting for a while since it was cold on the outside and edges and still pretty warm in the middle. My dad got a stirfry, in which was the smallest dish I’ve ever seen for the amount of money they ask for it. My boyfriend ordered the fajitas. I’m pretty sure he was the only one who enjoyed his meal. The server was nice, I little confused sometimes, but nice 🙂
The worst thing I ever ate. First of all, this is coming from a couple who will pretty much eat anything, we almost never have complaints about food. We went into Applebees earlier today for lunch. I ordred the Chicken Sandwich and Fries, and my boyfriend ordered the Quesidilla Burger. When we first got our meal we tried the fries, and they tasted old and looked like they had been sitting in the kitchen for a while. My Chicken Sandwich was easily the sickest thing I’ve ever ate in my life. I didn’t complain or say anything to my boyfriend because I didn’t want to ruin the atmosphere or his meal. While he was eating his burger he said it tasted awful and when we took a closer look it was raw on the inside. Neither of us finished our meal, we left hungry and spent $50.00 on this meal. I would strongly advise people to never eat here. We will never eat here again.
Been here a few times. The food isn’t so bad, but it is over-priced. My last dinner was almost cold and the one before was nothing worth what I paid for it. They have fantastic drinks and the staff is quite friendly. I just wish the food was better, or cheaper in price.
Service- non existent. Waited 10 min for wait staff to even ask us for a drink order… We walked out after waiting another 10 min. Not recommended
Accomodating but still not enough. First of all, I’m gonna come out and say this is biased because I don’t like Applebee’s to begin with. I think they have a pretty lackluster menu, but my boyfriend likes it so I go. Last time we went, I ordered a steak on a bun while my boyfriend ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. His wrap consisted of one piece of chicken, something you would find in a salad, and about a head of lettuce. It wasn’t edible… My piece of leather on a rock, as it turned out to be was less than appetizing as well. The steak was cooked as well as could be and the bun was stale. Although Applebee’s was very accomodating in taking my boyfriend’s meal off of our bill and giving us free dessert, it still isn’t enough to make up for the bad experience. I will say, that I have been to Applebees before and enjoyed their fajitas but that is probably the only thing on the menu I have ever truly enjoyed.
The service is EXTREMELY SLOW. We waited over half an hour last week before being even asked I we’d like to order a drink. The food is pretty good and on oar for this type of chain restaurant.
