  Interesting Menu Choices! Tasty Food!. So far we have gone to Applebees twice, and this is one of our favourite restaurants to visit. Since our first visit, theyve made changes to their already huge menu. Its nice to eat there because even though its most of time very busy, its always quiet.Both times weve gone to Applebees, weve had a hard decision as to what we are going to order because they have such a large menu and so many unique menu options. The servers seem to understand and give you enough time to have a good look over the menu before asking your decision. Initial drinks come quickly to the table, and whats nice about Applebees is that they actually put the drinks at the front of the menu. They are great with keeping up on refills as well. The menu options are reasonably priced across the board as well, they have lots of combos where you can choose 2 entrees and an appetizer for a discounted price, or add a salad or soup to your sandwich for cheaper. Even usually expensive meals like steak or seafood are priced comparably less expensive to other restaurants. The amount of appetizers available is substantial, there are even combos for these items as well, allowing you to choose small amount of multiple items to try or to share. Most of the items on the menu have a full colour photo for reference as well, which makes choosing a meal that much more difficult because everything looks excellent!Seating is varied at Applebees; you can see a television from almost every seat in the restaurant. We prefer to sit in a booth anywhere we eat, but the booths are pretty uncomfortable at Applebees. They are at an awkward angle and very stiff. They dont give much feet room underneath so we found ourselves kicking each other unintentionally. The servers that we had both times were almost too chatty; but if they fail to mention an appetizer to you, you get one for free. I like that the restaurant offers something like this to ensure that their service is up to par.Once we decided on our meals, we did not have to wait long at all for our food to arrive. On both occasions, our food arranged hot and exactly as ordered. Our first meals were very good, the Cowboy Burger and the Quesadilla Burger. They were huge burgers, both left us feeling very full and the Quesadilla burger had an interesting mix of toppings and sauces. The second time, we were slightly let down with the size of the meals and the quality of the toppings. The Roast Beef sandwich looked phenomenal in the picture, but was rather lackluster in person. It was on regular toast, the roast beef wasnt even as good as some fast food restaurants and the bacon was only lightly cooked and actually a choking hazard. The Chicken sandwich had minimal toppings, total lack of sauce and again the bacon was dangerous to eat. Both meals that we had at Applebees were really lacking in salad, or anything as a side. We both felt tired of the taste of our meals and thats what the side is for. But the tiny salad they give; although delicious and some of the best Caesar Ive tasted, there are only a couple mouthfuls.Applebees is a nice place to go, its a different alternative and the unique menu options, makes us want to return again and again. The multiple menu combo options are great for people on a budget and they have many healthy choices under a certain caloric intake. They have some great appetizers for eating out as a group and the atmosphere is relaxed and yet quiet enough to enjoy a quiet meal together. We recommend Applebees, its one of our favourites and we keep finding new options to keep us returning. The only thing that takes away from the overall score is really the lack of sides, but if you order an appetizer to share to accompany the actual meal, you should have no problem enjoying Applebees as much as we do!   Disgusting! My wife and kids were trying to enjoy a beautiful day. But, when we were seated at Applebee’s. We were seated beside where the employees were hanging out. The employees were very vulgar and loud. They were talking about being drunk,doing drugs and swearing. The food was slow and tasteless. The employer should be finding new employees. The only person whom in which was actually working was our server. She was great. Unfortunately, we will never come back.

  Awful, absolutely awful. Please noone go here, nothing to see so just move along folks.The food may as well be from microwave dinners. The service is as bad as the employees spirits…. Broken beyond repair.This place is the restaurant that Christmas missed.
