I attended a company Christmas party here. I exchanged emails to advise that I don’t consume animal products and was struggling with their menu & didn’t want an awkward evening. I was assured that the chef would surprise me with a custom dish. Wave after wave of meat, fish, cheese appetizers & non vegan vegetable samosas were served before the meal. Then we were seated and sweet potato soup with what appeared to be a swirl of cheese arrived so I handed it off to another guest. I managed to receive a half bowl of barely warm non cheese soup after most had finished their soup. Then the main dish arrived. I was served a small oily quinoa puck with a few greens. I discovered that this was the base that they served the fish on. There was a second vegan at my table and he ate his saying this is the exact same crap they served him last year. He was upset because everyone else had been eating the whole evening and we were served the tiny portion minus the fish without adding anything. I let him eat both as I refused to be treated with such disrespect. So I would like to personally thank them for a humiliating evening. I finally ate late night when I arrived home.
Went here on a Sunday night for a small wedding dinner. We got a private room for 10 guests and enjoyed a prix fixe type menu. Delicious! Had an antipasto platter, prime tenderloin, and chocolate pate for dessert. Steak cooked perfectly medium rare. Servings are generous. View is stunning! Wait staff were happy, helpful people and very knowledgable about the menu. We had a newborn baby with us and I really appreciated that the staff kept my food warm while I tended to her fussing. I will have to come back next time I am in town.
My partner has been telling me about Cambridge Mill for the longest time and when I finally went for the brunch, I was not disappointed. I loved every single thing about this place – the place, ambiance, food, service and staff. Definitely a must try.
Beautiful cuisine. I took my wife for her birthday and started out with a charcuterie plate to share, fresh bread was also brought. My wife chose the fish special, which was an Arctic char with cabbage rolls filled with seafood. I had the butchers choice which was lamb with risotto, both main courses where excellent. We rounded out the evening with a special creme brle and pumpkin pie and a blueberry tea and cappuccino. The restaraunt provids a wonderful setting and great views of the grand river.Service was outstanding and the waiter was very knowledgable, pleasant and attentive.Prices are what you would expect from a very high quality restuaraunt and I would highly recommend a visit
Large group birthday celebration. I celebrated my birthday in south tower room with fireplace and had 25 friends there-everything went very well -I have no complaints re food menu and service -very good. I asked several times if our table could be set up in a u shape as it is more condusive for conversation and seeing the entire group but they insisted on 2 long tables-As the customer my needs should come first -there was no practical reason I could not have had the table my way -we ate late and no one came in on the other side of the room all night -why does the restaurant always dictate how they want things set up -they should bend over backwards to please me next time I will insist on my way or go elsewhere -it did not make for an evening that I could see everyone and be with the entire group.
I really like the great selection of meals that The Mill has to offer. Vegetarian options. Fun restaurant and it isn’t too expensive on the scale of things. You should dress for it.
Amazing restaurant. I have yet to be disappointed with a meal here! The food is fresh, fabulous and meticulously prepared. The service is superb. I typically visit the Cambridge Mill for dinner, however, I was there for brunch recently and was very pleased with the selection! The Mill is currently my #1 fave restaurant in all of the tri-cities and surrounding areas. My only complaint — I wish they would bring the halibut dish back —- it was stellar!!!!
