Hands Down Favourite. My spouse and I consider ourselves somewhat of buttertart conisseurs, it is the treat we will try out anywhere we can. We popped into this small shop on the way to another event, and were shocked to find we both felt these were the best butter tarts we’ve ever had. I had the peanut butter chocolate chip, and he had the coconut. We went back today to pick up his birthday non-cake selection of those existing favourites, plus maple walnut and Skor which as fabulous! Best buttertarts ever. We were passing through Cambridge and stumbled across this gem. Went in and we were greeted with friendly service and a TON of different buttertart flavours to choose from. I started with the chocolate chip and butterscotch chip. DELICIOUS!!! Best buttertarts I’ve EVER had in my life. I highly recommend–if you haven’t had one of her tarts already–to get on it!!
Raving for Dee’s Butter Tarts?. I have had better butter tarts in my days. Like for example those of you may remember Rosewood Cafe and the recent Pioneer BBQ (the same lady made them as she went to work at the BBQ when Rosewood closed years ago). I do not know whom makes them at the BBQ now but they are delicious. Rosewoods Cafe butter tarts would melt in your mouth and where bigger. Dees Bakery gets all the hipe because of the many different kinds she makes but that’s about all I can say about her butter tarts.
I was delighted with my vist to Dees Bakery, the butter tarts are amazing! I had the skor and caramilk so good. My son got a huge cookie and was thrilled. The girl at the counter was friendly and helpful. Ill be back soon
Will support other bakeries in the city. Product ok, but staff was very rude and made me feel unwelcome.I will support other local bakeries from now on.
