I got sick on their food. I’ve heard others have too. I suggest you don’t even go in. Service is horrible at Franklin. If you want good Chinese food I suggest going down Elgin to Avenue.
Not recommended. Being new to cambridge we have only tried dragon city and unfortunately this is the first time we have had this issue. There have been times that the wait was frustrating but tolerable. This time we Ordered at 6:05 they called said credit card info was wrong told us food was on the way. 7:15 called to ask about order. The lady said the man left 15-20 mins ago. 7:45 food arrives. We told the guy we did not want to pay and he walked away with the food (rudely). We called and they did not offer to do anything about the inconvenience. Insisted that this was not their problem. We will never order from them again.

Dragon city is so unpredictable. It can be amazing at times or dreadful. I’ve been there often enough to say 2/3 times you buy food you won’t enjoy it. Don’t recommend it.
In Cambridge, Dragon City is my favourite Chinese food restaurant. I typically get General Tso or lemon chicken. Beef ho feng is great, too. Or any of their lo meins. If you find it bland, then stop ordering chicken balls, fried rice, and similar items that are cooked to be bland, for people with bland tastes. And pick up your food yourself, you pussies.
You people are idiots!! Go to Dragon City on Franklin Rd. Walk in, stop being lazy asses and pick up your food. Why wait for any delivery, it will always taste like crap. Some places you try one time and just KNOW you have to go back again sometime. Then there is Dragon City Chinese restaurant. I couldn’t even finish my entree…I won’t go back again. I ordered two egg rolls. Each one was very greasy. Then came the won ton soup, which I’ll simply call uninspired. Lastly came my entree. What shall I say about the Shanghai Noodles with chicken, pork and shrimp. Hmmmm. Well, if you kiddies want to try this at home, start with some thick Italian spaghetti and cover it with some sort of sweet sweet sort of vaguely spicy reddish sauce and sprinkle in bits of chicken and little 1/4 matchstick size morsels of pork and finally a few small shrimp. Make sure they are no bigger than a nickel in size. I was hungry when I drove out to get it and more so when I got home. Despite that, I simply could NOT bring myself to eat another bite after a while. I feel that a review ought to have positive elements as well so I’ll say that the soup containers had a very strong seal thus no soup spillage. The fortune cookies were also quite normal tasting and had nice plain, unimaginative fortunes therein. Well, I guess there is nothing more to do but keep searching our area for good Chinese takeout for next time.
