A welcome addition to Gananoque. Very pleased to have such a high quality sushi restaurant so close to home. We ordered take out, the rainbow roll as well as the salmon sashimi to try things out and were very impressed! Some of the best sushi I have had in Ontario. The fish is very fresh and high quality, appropriate prices for the quality. I will certainly become a regular.
Best Sushi Experience. This place does most of its business with takeout but I very much recommend dining-in at this small, comfortable and welcoming restaurant. The sushi is simply the best i’ve ever tasted in Canada and the service is quick and friendly. The man who runs the front of house really goes out of his way to make sure your dining experience is as close to perfect as it can be. The prices are reasonable however I have never seen it packed. On Sushi Sun’s website (www.sushisun.ca) it says that they are currently moving locations. I hope this closure isn’t permanent because there really are no other restaurants that compare to Sushi Sun in Ottawa when it comes to food quality.
