Great service and good food. My family with child (age 0-3) have eaten here 8 times. Always great service. Good food: burgers, wings, fish, curry, meat pies. Local beers and daily specials. Yum.

I ordered a beef burger. The outside was black/ burnt the inside was raw red. After everyone else was done eating, we sat for a while, before the server came back I complained to my server, she didn’t know how to handle the situation. Left my plate in front on me, didn’t offer anything else and charged me for a burger that I didn’t eat and didn’t like. Will not return. Bad service. Bad food.
Good Pub Food in Gan!. Have eaten at the Pub several times and only once did I figure I chose poorly (a curry meal). Enjoyed everything else, especially the fish and chips!
WORST PLACE IN GANANOQUE. I have been to the Old English Pub on a few occasions and have never had a good meal there. The caesar salad is terrible, sheppards pie is tasteless and even though chicken fingers are the easiest to cook, they some how found a way to mess this dish up. The manager/owner/british guy is the worst employer I have ever seen, and rarely is seen doing something productive other than sitting down drinking with customers that would rather be ‘enjoying’ their terribily cooked meals. Go to the English Pub as a last resort only, and I hope you wont be as disappointed as I was.
One of my Favourites!. We travel, about 25 minutes, every couple weeks to enjoy this fabulous restaurant. Sometimes I wish the servers would check their tables a bit moer often, but everything else is perfect!Hands down, try the mini yorkies, the lobster dip and the chicken pot pie!
The Old English Pub. Highly recommended! A friendly neighbourhood pub in Gananoque. Many of the usual pub standards on the menu but with some interesting twists like the Earth and Turf burger with field mushrooms, bean sprouts, alfalfa and pesto mayo. A good draft beer and scotch selection and even a decent wine list (for an English pub) although not many by the glass. The service is consistently friendly and helpful and the prices were quite reasonable.
