This is a classic chain restaurant that tries to please everyone but rarely succeeds at being more than mediocre. I used to go here a lot when I was younger and less familiar with the Ottawa restaurant scene. The menu is made up of a large variety of poorly executed dishes. For example, shrimp tacos lack flavour and the shrimp is unnecessarily and poorly battered and deep fried when a simple sautee would work better. The lack of heat or citrus or any of the flavours that make tacos great were sorely lacking. Noodle dishes are soggy, burgers are overcooked and dry, and the selection of beer and wine is paltry. On top of that the service is slow. Overall, not very good if you’re looking for a nice meal.
Just an easy inexpensive spot. The $4 caesars and half price apps on Sundays are a real hit! Service is usually pretty good, specially when Carol is working behind the bar.
Great venue to pop in to on a Sunday with the cheap beers and half price appetisers. The wings, Asian calamari and potato tornado were great.
This is just an easy place to pop in for an easy affordable meal or drink. The daily specials are good value, large beers and decent food portion sizes. $5 Caesar Sunday’s are a hit.Enjoy!
Went there for a birthday a few weeks ago, waitress wasnt very nice or friendly. Half the table got served and got their bills while the other half hadn’t even gotten a chance to order. The waitress didn’t come and check to see if we were doing okay. Wasn’t a good experience, didn’t seem like it was a right place to spend my money, probably won’t ever be going there again.
Had lunch place was busy and the service was good. We order chicken sandpit and a burger the food was warm and decent. It is in a good place in it’s category . And congrats to this restaurant they use French catsup a Canadian ketchup and not Heins bravo
Incredibly slow service and WAY overpriced. $18 for a Cobb salad?? Was super hungry so went ahead and ordered it. Not bad tasting but also nothing special
