What a great new place. The menu is purposely different. The Marrakech wrap was very tasty and the egg in it added to the uniqueness. The three people at the counter were really nice and helpful. The choice of dipping sauces is varied and a very nice change from the ordinary. The place was really clean. Great value and I will be back.
A hidden gem!Ottawa outpost of MTL sandwich chain located in an unassuming strip mall in Vanier/St Laurent (good eats are found in such places).Flavours here are multi-cultural with a Francophone Arab accent. They make burgers and fries (for the kids?) but sandwiches are the real deal here. Priced between 7 and 11 bucks, they are big, meaty and make a solid meal.French-style sandwich bread is stuffed with 1/2/3 kinds of meat (chicken or beef, in a variety of seasonings), a handful of veggies and cheese. They also add some spicy sauce of tie up the flavours…… net result: utter scrumptiousness :)Will try more varieties in future…… just hoping they open a branch or two in Downtown or the West End.PS- The food can be messy (definitely not recommended for business lunch or a first date)

If you like meaty sandwiches (and I mean packed with meat), this is the place for you. We had the Maximum (chicken, beef patties, bacon and cheese) and the Phillysteak (filet mignon, mushrooms and cheese) sandwiches. Both were fully loaded and good. We didn’t care much for the (unsalted) fries – although the dipping sauces (samurai and American were our favourites) are good. The fountain drink cup that comes with a meal is rather small compared to other similar places. This newly opened restaurant was not busy, clean and staff were very helpful. Bring your appetite, these sandwiches are very filling!
