Have stopped by to get the family fries to go with dinner many times. Great fries and nice people working. Value for your money. It’s nice to call ahead and your fries are waiting!
Great job!. Golden Fries did a great job of providing a late night snack at our wedding reception. The staff did a commendable job of overcoming a challenging entryway to the venue and got things up and running on time. The Poutine was delicious, we got many positive comments from our guests.
Love Golden Fries. We have had the good fortune of having Golden Fries as our Lunch Sponsor for Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s annual Great Strides Walk and we can’t say enough about their level of service, the quality of their food and their corporate generosity. They play a strong and exemplary role in our quest to find a cure for cystic fibrosis.
Awesome Wedding. Everyone absolutely loved the gourmet grilled cheese and poutine for the midnight snack! They were both delicious. I would recommend them to all and they are resonably priced as well. Fantastic!

Wowww, finally my dreams have been met! Poutine & gourmet grilled cheese! Treated myself and the wife to a pulled pork and jalapeo bacon grilled cheese at Winterlude. Interesting to see that only local ingredients are used, truly amazing. The place was super clean, the service fast and friendly (not usually the norm at food trucks). I was informed by staff that they are at pretty well every major event in Ottawa and surrounding area and also do private catering. Staff party this year? Ohhh ya!
WHY EAT ANYWHERE ELSE?. I’ve gotta say, I’ve eaten my fair share of fries. So at this year’s Winterlude, when I saw Golden Fries & The Grilled Cheeserie, I thought to myself – a couple more won’t hurt, right? Of course not.Let me tell you, the service was incredible and the camaraderie behind the counter was truly magical to watch. And the food, 100% honest to goodness greatness. The sweet potato fries were cooked to PERFECTION. Perfection people! The pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich my friend ordered (you’re damn right I took a bite) was flavourful and packed a mean punch full of delicious pork and just the right amount of melted cheese. Having the wonderful owner (she runs a tight ship!) and Golden Fries at Winterlude was the best decision the event organizers made! I left Golden Fries a TRUE winner.Let this AWESOME food truck add a little bit of gold to your day.
