Ate at Hung Fatt’s for 15+ years until they retired. Now it’s called Hong Fa. The food is totally bland, no spices at all. Tried a second time, trying different dishes, same thing. Ended up throwing most of it away it was so bad. Will never go there again.
Still Bland. Since the last reviews about the food’s blandness were a few years old, I thought maybe that things had changed. Nope. While the egg rolls were good and the service was friendly, all of the three main dishes ordered were extremely bland (even the spicy one). Love the vintage sign but that’s not going to be enough to make me come back.
