I’ve always liked this place. This food is fresh and very tasty. I’d like to say I will work my way through the menu but I’m a sucker for their moussaka. I don’t much care for their drink menu though, keep getting burned with unappealing house wines and bad mixed drinks.
Great authentic greek food! The souvlaki is to die for. The portions are fair and the service is alwAys friendly! Too bad this place is so underrated
They cook their lamb souvlaki really well here! I get lamb souvlaki pretty much every time I visit. I wish we could get a mezedakia plate of just lamb since that’s all my family ever wants to eat! Their lamb chops not so much; I found them to be really rubbery and chewy. My family liked it, but I couldn’t do it; it just had a weird texture.The servers are all quite decent – friendly, polite, and fun. My family loves visiting when we want a bit of a nicer restaurant when we end up in the south end of Ottawa.
Great food! Great service. Been there twice now and will definitely continue to go back. Had the lamb souvlaki the first time and the oregano chicken the second time and they were both delicious. My dinner companions agreed that food was great! Same server both times and she was really nice and attentive.
Pretty good. Overall this is a great place to bring a family, especially a family that isn’t set on something extremely expensive or offbeat. I wasn’t a fan of the trout when I had it, but their soufflaki plate is fantastic.
Do not order beef. It was rancid and told we did not understand Greek cuisine.Will never go back
Nice option in a culinary wasteland. This is a nice little local restaurant, one badly needed in the South end. I have been three times now, and enjoyed all of my meals. The gyro sandwich platter is very good, with the sandwich itself being flavorful and the meat very tender. The accompanying salad is tasty, and the potatoes are good as well (if not a bit salty). The service is friendly and the washrooms are clean. I wish there were more half-decent restaurants in the South Keys area, but at least this is a good reliable option.
