They have a good business model. Keep it simple, appeal to a more trendy market. The menu is designed to to be quick and efficient. This means that everything is kept simple and can be assembled quickly. Their difference is in the flavour combinations and varieties in sandwiches. Any criticisms/changes I would make, would require more staff in order to operate as efficiently as they do. For the price and speed of service, they are spot on.
LunchBox doesn’t redefine the sandwich or anything like that, but it does make a pretty darn good one. I’ve been here many times, and I consider it to be my go-to if i’m in the mood for a non-Italian sandwich (Di Rienzo’s, Nicastro’s, and La Botegga are better for Italian). It’s a cozy little hole in the wall, with really good service. Their sandwiches always seem to be made with really fresh ingredients, and they have some tasty treats such as potato salad and cookie dough. My personal favorite is the Sean Evans sandwich, so I’d recommend that one if you like chicken. Overall a solid local place that probably deserves a visit if you’re nearby.
