Pho with rare beef and meatballs was incredibly tasty, however it did not come as rare. It was actually well done. The broth was perfect, not too salty. Portions were proportional to the price, but there may be cheaper options in Chinatown. However for a remote area like Beacon Hill, it surpassed expectations. The restaurant itself was very clean and very quiet and the atmosphere was really nice. Service was okay, but nothing to rave about.
Very good! Quiet place and the location is easy but hard to notice. Clean place. Food was great. Rice with metas and eggs were superb. Great taste but maybe needed more warmth. Shrimp tempura was not the standard but still tasty.
I picked up some take-out while I was in the area. The restaurant looked clean and the decor updated. I got shrimp summer rolls and a tom yum soup. Service was quick, but the place wasn’t very busy at that time. I was disappointed with the summer rolls and thought they were pretty plain (vermicelli, lettuce and shrimp) compared to others I’ve had before (at the minimum, they usually have some fresh herbs in here); but they were fresh and the peanut sauce was good. The tom yum soup was delicious! So overall, a promising experience. I’ll be back to try their pho!
