Ive been enjoying this place for a few years and thought it would be good to share my experience. On remembrance day, I showed up unannounced to give you an idea of what to expect at this fine Lebanese restaurant.These guys are fanatics. I didnt know food was a religion until I met this crew they literally worship food! Every action and gestures is done with utmost care serving with precision.Portions are generous, they are patient and wait for your instructions. Ive come here for 2 years and always receive perfect orders this tells you how well they listen to customers.The food Absolutely scrumptious. I wrote this review while eating part of the family dinner (photo). I just couldnt stop eating, its that good. Texture, spices, garlic, potatoes, chicken and rice all quality.Today I was served by Aiman (photo) and Scarlet. You can tell the group has good chemistry and passion for what they do. Great shawarma!. I was really craving classic Ottawa shawarma after a week long vacation out of the country. The chicken shawarma really hit the spot for me, perfect amount of seasoning and the meat was very tender. The prices here are also very reasonable, and the combos are great deals, however I was unimpressed with the potatoes – they didn’t really taste like anything to me and lacked the flavour that I’m used to at places like Castle on Rideau. But the shawarma sandwich really made up for that.
Horrible experience, ask about cost first , old crusty food served at lunch hour. Attended today and there is no chicken salad Identified on any of the menu boards, so I asked how much is a medium chicken salad and was told $15, I then asked are you sure because most places large chicken salad should be $12 to $15. Several people spoke back-and-forth in Arabic finally I was told $11. I then got a med chic salad to go and when I opened it up I discovered a small pile of junk dried out chicken. The reviews I’ve read associated are not what I experienced today. Best advice is to look and see what they serve you and watch the pricing.
My lunch stop when I want something quick to bring home. Portions are big and always consistent. Staff is always friendly and talkative.
BEST IN OTTAWA. Service is great, very friendly people. Some of the best chicken I’ve tasted in my life, the seasoning is perfect. The garlic tastes like heaven and its real garlic. The rice and potatoes are to die for! 5 stars
The food is awesome, the people their is very friendly and the price is very comparable and affordable. I go there at least once a week. Very very satisfied customer.
Scammed ???. These guys are a bunch of rip offs. The food is ok not AMAZING. I Wanted a chicken shawarma and i got beef. I ordered two number 3 combos 11.50 each and salad on the side (fatoush) the guy said $36.00. I asked if he was sure it was right ? He said yes. OK Prayed it and was When i noticed the potato’s thats supposed to come with the combo are NOT IN THE BAG. I went back and he tried to charge me $8.45 more ??? I said it comes with my combo and he said no salad only. I told him look at the picture ?? Potatos and sandwich and drink. He told me i did not order it and i payed him just to get home to eat my now cold food. Beat it shawarma Prince you GUYS SUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!
