So Ive been here twice; once for pho the other was for ramen. I had the seafood ramen today, and I wasnt too impressed. The broth is lighter than the usual Tonkotsu broth you the ramen. The pho, wasnt to flavourful either. If youre looking for a quick and reasonable food this is the place to go. Our food came out quickly and the service was good.
We’d eaten takeout from SP once before and it was excellent. This second time (takeout) however, keep in mind that we called-in the order around 4:20pm(slow period) on a Saturday and there were only 4 items on the order …A) We ordered, and paid for, 2 veg. spring rolls and only got one – we specifically asked how many rolls were in an order and when 1 order would not be enough we asked for 2B) The containers of the other three items were barely half full. At a cost of $14.50, $14.95 & $15.95 I don’t have to tell you how disappointing and expensive that was.We will try SP the next time we want Vietnamese cuisine in hopes that this time was simply an ‘off’ day.
I really enjoy going to this place.I’ve tried a few different things and I have zero complaints. The staff is nice, the food is food, the environment and look of the restaurant is clean and nice also.
Always very good, fresh and tasty. Service is always excellent and welcoming. Portions are generous and prices are fair. Great place for some Pho!
Had pho there at the end of winter and enjoyed every sip. The broth was tasty with the right blend of spices. It definitely warmed me up and put a smile on my face. Will go back to enjoy something other than soup.
Excelllent Mi Hu Tieu (spicy egg noodle/rice noodle soup) here. Goi cuon made with fresh ingredients and dishes made with detail to presentation. Extremely friendly service – and they deliver too! 🙂
Bland and boring. The meat in the summer rolls was freezing cold and the peanut sauce was so thin and watery. (When are Orleans Asian food places going to realize that peanut sauce is supposed to be savoury and on the thick side rather than runny?). Yuck. Won’t be returning
