While visiting the Ottawa area with friends we decided to try an ethnic meal. This was our first introduction to Lebanese cuisine. The food was amazing! Delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. So good!!!
I do not live close to Shwarma Byte, but in the two times that I have been in the neighbourhood, I have really enjoyed my experience. I had the Fatoush salad the first time in, and it was perfect. Exceeded my expectations. Today, I ordered a chicken shwarma and platter to go, both were equally fresh and certainly great value for the dollar. The service is friendly, the premise is clean and the portions are excessive. Two thumbs up!
Shawarma lover. If you are looking for a place to go waste your money, then by all means this is the place. Customer service is horrible, food is garbage, and overly-priced for nothing! I am Lebanese myself and a huge fan of Shawarma and I have never been so disappointed or even more ashamed in my life. I gave this place 2 tries and both times failed. Once at lunch when an old looking man was on the service line looked 50-60, didn’t know what the heck he was doing. And another time was on a weekday during the evening where a young Filipino looking guy and another young man served us looking like they didn’t even want to be there. The owner should make serious changes or wait for a miracle to happen for this place to shape up.
Good shawarma, good chicken!. Very professional and very clean place. Food is top notch, What I would expect from a much more expensive restaurant. You have to try their combo plate (bring a friend for that one) or their really tender broasted chicken. You can’t go wrong.
