An authentic Mexican taco spot in the suburban east end of all places. I really like the food at this restaurant. Home made corn tortillas, authentic tacos al pastor, generous portions of ceviche, and various home made salsas. The decor and service have improved with each trip that I’ve taken here. They also have a nice selection of tequilas and offer daily specials for food and drinks making it a good place to get together regularly with friends. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, make your way to the burbs and try out this spot.

Best authentic Mexican restaurant I’ve been to. They make everything homemade and it’s delicious. Definitely going back to this place!

My family and I absolutely loved trying this restaurant!Highlights: authentic mexican food: the corn shells brought me back to my trip to Mexico! The guacamole was delicious and a very generous portion! It had a little too much cilantro for my liking but I would definitely order again! The chips were interesting, they were really thick and a little greasy but very tasty with the guacamole. The meals were delicious, especially the bean soup and the pulled pork with pineapple taco. The taco tasted so rich and buttery with the savory sweetness of the fruit.Let downs:The service was a little slow. We were there maybe 15 minutes before anyone asked for a drink order. It was busy for a wednesday but even water and eye contact would have been appropriate. It isn’t a very big place either, about 10 tables… Sadly the waiter forgot my mom’s meal and didn’t notice… she had to eat after everyone else had finished eaten. For desert we ordered the chocolate cake. It was really dense and a little dry. It tasted like it was store bought? I wouldn’t order it again. The table next to us ordered the churros and they absolutely loved them! Next time churros it is!Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant! The service was a little slow but the food makes up for it!

Had the soups and tacos al pastor, both were good but overpriced and very skimpy on the meat which waitress said was their speciality. The churros were excellent. On the tacos there was 4 slivers and I do mean slivers of meat.

We waited 45 minutes to get a $18.00 take out plate that looked like the food was regurgitated in grease. Most of the meal was undercooked. INCLUDING the bacon. The tortilla was chewed up popcorn that was flattened. Super Grainy and dry.The waitress did not even ask us if we wanted something to drink while waiting.I give up. There are no words…..

We went a few weeks after opening. The waiter’s service was not very good but we hoped that it was because of lack of experience. The owner and chef were great and the food was excellent and authentic (not tex mex). I do suggest going but hope that the wait staff is better trained next time we go. Other reviews mentioning food that was sub-par probably had bad luck.

Very authentic Mexican tacos al pastor. The habanero sauce is amazing for a hot sauce; not overbearing but but still has a kick. Perfect portions. Best churros I’ve ever had, including in Mexico! Will definitely be back!
