This place was recommended by a coworker who really enjoys Mexican cuisine. I was very impressed with the freshness and quality of the vegetarian burrito. Highly recommend!
Friendly service.Tasty food. Authentic flavors with good, simple dishes. There are good fresh light options for summer months.Cool drinks — my wife had a good Pena colada.
Although I’m not a big fan of Mexican food i must admit that this place was great. Service and food were good, the drinks looked so good that we didn’t want to touch them.
Best Mexican place. Very good authentic Mexican food. Loved every bite! Nachos, very delicious, filled with flavours. Courteous and friendly staff..
YOU MUST EAT HERE. look, i don’t mess around with my tacos, and neither do these guys. when it comes to tacos: it’s business time… and La Bonita is the business.
We really enjoyed our first visit to taqueria la Bonita. Located in an unassuming strip mall near silver city, once inside you are transported away to Mexico by the lively decor, fun music, and delicious food. Our server was fast, friendly and fun. There was an old movie projected on a wall, and a diverse crowd to watch. We ordered margaritas (obviously), which they can prepare shaken or frosty based on your preference. They arrived promptly and were delicious! Hard to choose from all the awesome variations so we went on the servers suggestion. He had the tacos and I had these delicious deep fried taco rolls. You can choose what kind of meat goes in either dish. I preferred the chicken to the barbacoa beef, which was a bit dry. Both dishes tasted fresh and were served with three salsas, or sauces of varying heat intensities: one jalapeo and cilantro, one made with smoky chillies, and one with habanero. He went straight for the habanero based on the color lol and sure added a kick to his tacos . We both loved our food. The only thing that was tricky was the deep fried tacos are very crunchy so hard to eat like the proper lady that I am. Ended up cutting them up, mixing the fresh lettuce and cheese on top, the guacamole and pico it came from, all in together. Not pretty but delish! We would definitely go again. Will bring others as this seems like the perfect restaurant for lingering in good company. Great for a date night too!Came to 55$ for two with drinks tax and tip, and we both left full but not too full. Give this place a try!
I was very pleased to finally try La Bonita and wasn’t disappointed. I had been driving by it for a year or so, but never seemed to stop. There choice of dishes was very diverse, I did takeout for my first time there and ordered 3 variety of tacos for my wife and I. The food was great, fresh and was well presented considering this was takeout. We have subsequently returned and was just as happy eating in. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for tradional mexican food.
