There is no doubt that the food is great, the entire menu. The staff is usually friendly, but when one goes there, it is best to just accept that the service is going to be slow, more often than not. Don’t count on table-checks, drink refills, or pretty much timely anything. It’s hard to justify this lacklustre service in such a small restaurant, but that’s the way it is at La Bonita.

This is my go to place for Mexican food. I’ve been coming for about 2 years now, menu has changed since then, price gone up a little but same great taste. I usually go with the super burrito with chicken or the quesadillas. The service is always good. Once the kitchen was behind and they gave us complimentary guacamole. Dinner always comes with 3 homemade sauces to add to your meal, definitely my favourite part trying out all the sauces.
