About
A Muskoka Tradition: In 1959, Fritz and Ursula Rebelein and their family moved to Gravenhurst and purchased a small bakery business at 141 Brock Street. The original business came equipped with a small pizza oven for baking and an old bathtub for washing dishes. On their first day open Ursula was suing a cake box as her cash register. Her first customer gave her a $2.00 bill for a .60 cent purchase and Ursula had no money to make change. That first $2.00 bill hung in the Bakery for many years. Many of the products are made from Fritz's original recipes. Chelsea buns, donuts, butter tarts and bread are perennial favorites. New additions include sourdough breads and gluten free products.
