Excellent Restaurant. The Apollo Restaurant has been our favourite restaurant for over 35 years. Great atmesphere, awsome servers and great food. They never rush you out no matter how busy they are, unlike other restaurants in Sudbury. The owner always makes a point to go around to each table to say hello and see if everything is ok. We have tried almost everything on the menu including the poseidon and we were never disapointed. We eat at the Apollo quite often, minimum once a month. We’ve been to every restaurant in town and have many times come out disappointed or with a headache because of loud noises. I like to go to a restaurant where I won’t get a headache, I like to relax and enjoy my meal. I recommend this restaurant to everyone. Joanne Cayer, Sudbury ON
Fine dinning prices = Frozen foods ?. The over all experience was a disappointment, my wife and I went there for our anniversary. To start off first impressions, restaurant itself is very outdated and feels very cluttered. When you look at the menu and see seasonal vegetables do not think somewhat fresh in season veggies they are obvious frozen and over steamed/cooked vegetables with no taste that you can easily turn into paste for a young baby with a no effort squeeze of the fork (would recommend these veggies if you bring your infant), after my complaint they replaced my veggies with the same frozen junk. I ordered the Poseidon platter 40$ the lobster tail over cooked and rough. My scallops were very rubbery once complained and replaces they looked good but the centre were still frozen (a 40$ platter with frozen seafood in my opinion at this price of dinning should be fresh unfrozen foods) the rest of the platter was in acceptable but not spectacular. Spent 90$ on 2 entres and 1 appetizer and will never again come to this location someone would have to pay my meal for me to try this place again.
Horrible dinning experience from the moment we walked in- host was more than unfriendly- asked if we has reservations- replied no, he huffed- and took us to a table in an empty restaurant- apparently no one had made reservations- 10 dollars for a salad that was not very good at all- frozen vegetables- with steak – steak was tough- but I like it well done so I was ok with that- no atmosphere, no service, miserable staff and mediocr food at best. Would never return- mostly do to the greeting and frozen veggies-

I get insulted when I pay $25 for an entre and get frozen vegetables especially in the summer. I’ve never had a good meal at this restaurant. Even the service is poor. They need a major restaurant make over. Maybe veg Ramsey could work his magic
