One of the only places in Sudbury where you can bring your MacBook, order espresso, tea, wine and chill, be creative and people watch. It reminds me of Williamsburg or Queen Street Toronto. It’s standard hipster fare and te cheese is great. I hope they start doing brunch as no one in the downtown core does this – gold mine.

Was disappointed- as I thought everything was made on the premises- wouldn’t go back – prices are High for something store bought .

Love this place!. I’m a huge fan of cheese so I’m biased but I absolutely love it. Their selection is fantastic, and their occasional live music acts are very nice.

    I must go there !

I visited Fromagerie Elgin for the second time this Saturday and I’ve gotta say I loved it! I ordered the cheese and cracker tray and it was worth way more than the 12 dollars it cost! Triple creme brie, smoked cheddar from france and a thick slice of asiago surrounded by olives and sun dried tomatoes, baguette slices and crackers full of tasty seeds. So delicious and a lovely rustic atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back!!!

One of my favorite places in Sudbury!! Absolutely adorable and good value on cheese and cheese plates. However, beware the owner. Catch her on a busy day and you shall not receive kind treatment. Have considered boycotting due to this behavior (a sentiment I’ve heard from many around town…people that regularly drop $50-100 in the store).

Very nice!. Love that place! Every time I go to Sudbury, I try to make a stop there. Love to the long table, where you can sit and enjoy a coffee while reading the paper or talking with friends. Good selection of cheese that you can eat there (try the Cheese platter) or take home. Good crpes and a few other meals. Friendly owner Hazel.
