Worst meal dining out. I recently went for diner at Kings Buffet and unless my poor old memory if failing me it was the absolute worst meal I have ever had at a restaurant. Was positive that the chicken was rancid, all the food appeared to have been reheated from a previous day, it was horrid.
Umm….no. Food is passable. Ok, borderline passable. The whole experience was utterly forgettable. There are better restaurants in the area that serve food that will … ahem…stay down.
It was ok. Not the greatest I’ve tried. You would find some typical items like the salad bar ( who has; shrimps,condiments, different type of salads and such), the soups…. I was really hoping to find to big noodles won ton for their won ton soup, I guess it is not everywhere anymore, the Main buffet, half is the usual chinese items and the other half was…. American style food…. Disappointing. I like to go to a Chinese buffet to eat Chinese food, not perogies and mash potatoes. The wasn’t any wok station. The sushi station….. Oufffff…. I passed. Wasn’t looking that great.The service was good, we had a nice girl who was taking care of us! If the buffet gets updated or re-vamped, I would go again to give it a try.
Bad experience overall. Food selection was generic and overly salty even for this kind of food. Service was not great. Closer to closing time the person cleaning the buffet counters was spraying windex (brand name blue liquid) on the mirrors behind the food counters closest to the walls and on the overhanging glass at each food station, some amount of it likely spritzing onto the food. Apetizing? No. No one had anything very good to say about the food except the chicken skillet which was better than the rest. Don’t go with the salmon.
Disappointing. We used to go all the time, particularly for special occasions. However, the last couple of years the food always seems like it’s been sitting out all day. Way too expensive for far too little quality.
Typical buffet style food. Lots to chose from but all taste very bland and lacking flavour. I would recommend avoiding the sushi very dry as if it has been sitting for too long all in all I give this buffet 5/10 taste. 8/10 price and 8/10 service
Clean, food is good, plentiful, it’s a buffet! We don’t have a Barrie Mandarin!
