Best East Indian restaurant in Sudbury! Everything is delicious and made fresh when you order. The portion sizes are very generous in comparison to many other Indian restaurants I have tried. The staff are very kind. I definitely recommend Little India if you appreciate authentic, homemade, and fresh East Indian cuisine.

3 of us attended for the friday night buffet . The food was cold and they took their time refilling the expensive desireable stuff like butter chicken. We ordered a bottle of red wine eith our meal and the young man left the bottle at the table and did not even open it. ( it was a screw cap) we served ourselves. As the night went on we ordered a second bottle of red wine, and this time the manager brought it over. Wouldn’t you know he leaves the uncorked bottle in front of us and leaves. We had no corkscrew??? What the heck We returned the bottle to him at the cash when we were leaving, he had no clue why we wanted it off the bill. Absolutely the worst etiquette we had ever seen. I guess they don’t serve wine in India. PS bring your own corkscrew!! What a fine dining experience……

Okay. Food’s okay, but nothing great. I was recently told, as well, that most of the sauces come out of powdered packages you can buy at the grocery store (with instructions as to how to prepare them), rather than being made from scratch, which is disappointing to say the least.Food, still, is mostly good, despite being way overpriced. Buffet food is not spicy at all, but for the price, is pretty much the only time I’ll be going.

Ho Hum. Nothing to write home about…… typical indian food , chintzy surroundings.

Maybe the atmosphere isn’t amazing, but the food is terrific and the service is very pleasant. Every time I’ve eaten there the owners have come to our table to make sure everything is to our liking, and they’ve also recommended dishes, explained ingredients/preparation to us, and upon request, added some more fire to the spicy vindaloo (one of our faces). I’ve only been to the buffet once, but it was excellent value and just as good as any other visit. Lots of vegetarian options also. Highly recommended.

WAY, over priced! Food is very good but,,,,,, portions are small. Atmosphere is kinda blahsey! There must be a balance.
