Service is a joke…bartenders and servers just going through the motions, no interaction, no personality no customer experience here, the only server that cared about the customer was the Russian girl!!
Expensive and limited selection of beers. I find it on the expensive side with a limited selection of beers. Exiting left onto the Falconbridge highway is a concern on weekdays and they close early on Sundays. So on many ocassions I’ll go to Boston Pizza which is a few blocks away.
A great Canadian restaurant that isn’t a chain, and gives you a warm canadian feel as you wander through!
I wanted to love it. But I didn’t, I’ve been a few times, and the first time I had The. Driest. Burger. Ever.Their gravy tastes VERY powdery for something they say is made in house. Mixed in house, not the same as MADE in house.
Gormet Burger Night. They started doing specials certain nights of the week. We went on Tuesday and had the gourmet burgers. It was really good! I had the Neptune burger and my partner had the wrap around burger (hamburger wrapped around in bacon). I would definitely go back any day of the week.
Best Ribs In Town!!. We had a great experience or I guess you can say great all-Canadian experience. We were very impressed with the Canadian decor and atmosphere, really comfortable place. The staff were friendly and attentive and our food was cooked just right. I had the slow-smoked ribs and I could tell right away they were freshly prepared in-house, delicious… My wife was impressed with her steak and we complimented our meal with a bottle of wine from the all Canadian wine list. What a great concept, made us proud to be Canadian, will be back with the family.
The whisky bar and beer selection is a plus, but this place is overpriced and the food is boring and bland. I ordered the spicy avocado chicken wrap, and it was dry, cold, and about 1/10 on the spicy scale. Nice atmosphere though, so it’s a decent option if you’re strictly going out for drinks.
