On Saturday, 19th September 2015, my wife and I accompanied by our daughter and son-in-law went to your Regent Street location. We were told there were not four seats available at the time, that we would have to wait about ten minutes. While we were sitting, waiting for over 10 minutes during which time no one left the restaurant, someone came in asking for a table for five, they were immediately brought in. As far as the math I learned, four is less than five; therefore there had been room for us to be seated. When I inquired, I was told that the new customers were seated at a table for six. That table would have easily accommodated the four of us. The restaurant gained one customer, but you lost four in the process, feeling very insulted, we left. We will not be going there any more. By the way this used to be our favourite sushi place in town. You lost our business that day and for a long long time to come. Not a very good business model to run an establishment.

Worst Sushi I have ever had.. On my recent trip to Okinawa Sushi, I was served the worst sushi I have ever had. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by the typical all-you-can-eat sushi staff that looked generally irritated that I walked in. After she mumbled a few questions, I managed to get a table and a glass of water. She brought ginger and wasabi that looked like it had been sitting out for a few weeks. I thought little of it, and ordered the usual barely passable maki that is the standard for Sudbury. This is when the experience went from bad to worse.The maki was the worst sushi I have ever tasted. The rice was stale, the seaweed wrap was chewy, and the fish tasted old. My volcano rolls even had chunks of burnt tempura in them. Instead of struggling to leave without paying (a nearly impossible task at a sushi buffet), I forced the disgusting maki down and paid the exorbitant holiday dinner price (which was not advertised). I would strongly urge all potential patrons to avoid Okinawa Sushi like the plague. Hopefully this place will go out of business soon.
Great food great service. We love going to okinawa for a treat. The menu is big with lots of choice for an all you can eat and the food comes out hot and fast every time regardless of how busy they are. The service is friendly and the restaurant is very clean! Great job
Staff is Rude. Basically slam your plates down, take your money and tip, no thanks. Smiles not allowed.
I love this restaurant, I used to go to Osaka on LaSalle but sine I came here the first time it is my new favorite sushi joint. Service is always good when I go there and the price is good too.
