Outstanding Sashimi. I’ve eaten at the 3 biggest sushi places in Sudbury and Umai is at the top by a large margin. Largest sashimi pieces I’ve ever had. Give it a try!
Good food, good prices.. As we all know cheap sushi is not the best sushi. not saying that it is expensive, its actually very reasonable for what you get. The staff is kind and understanding, though like any restaraunt they do have nights that it will take a little longer to get your food and bill than others. The chef working gets to put a bit of their own spin on your meal which is how any good kitchen should work.
Really good sushi at a reasonable price. Can’t ask for much more than that.

BEST SUSHI IN ONTARIO!! NO LIE. Although you pay for it, this place has the best sushi I have ever had in Ontario, and I’ve eaten at all the most hyped places in Toronto, as well as many in other cities as well. Nothing compares to the quality of their sushi. The presentation and decor is great as well. If you don’t care about all-you-can-eat or spending a little extra, this should be your top choice for sure!!!

Dinner at Umai. My daughter and I had a really good dinner at Umai last nite. The food was great, the service attentive and personal (okay, she forgot to bring out tomago) and the prices reasonable. The restaurant is in a great location (next to Arby’s on Paris). All things considered, I’d definitely go back. Try the rainbow roll and the spicy, crispy roll.
