Went here last Saturday and we sat on the patio. It was decorated with Edison lights that were strung from above us from one end of the patio to the other while an authentic Latin band played soft music in the background. We started with an antipasto platter followed by 2 pizzas that were cooked in an outdoor stone oven that was situated 5 feet from our table. The food was fantastic and the prices were reasonable. We had been seated by the owner who was very friendly and pleasant. He checked on us periodically as well by our waiter and the waitress that worked as a team tending to all patrons on the patio. The entire experience was excellent and I’ll definitely be back in the fall when they introduce some French inspired dishes to the menu.
Dining at cibo osteria was a wonderful experience. Me and my friends tried the Florentine Italian Stuffed Puff Pastry, The Julianna Pizza and Mushroom Manicotti pasta . All the food was beautiful and delicious. The Julianna Pizza was fresh, nicely seasoned, and topped with a mushrooms and bacon. The Florentine Italian Stuffed Puff Pastry was very flavorful and Yummy. Yes, it was just as good as it sounds. The service was awesome and the environment was good. If you plan to visit, get a reservation.
I’m a big time foodie and have traveled quite a few places in Canada….As far as my opinion is concerned this is one of the best Italian food I’ve ever tried….. Their risotto and pizza is to die for moreover they have a really nice wine selection………. presentation was really good….this place is a must visit place in Grimsby….
Not Bad. My wife and I have been here twice. First time I ordered the tortellini. Not bad but the pasta was undercooked and the tortellini tasted like prepared frozen pasta. My wife ordered the fettuccine ala cibo which she really enjoyed. Second time I ordered the veal Parmesan. Thinnest piece of veal I have ever received in a restaurant. I was not impressed and the sauce is very acidic. My wife ordered the Capri salad and said it was ok.Not very good value for your money.Ambiance is ok but very confining. The guitarist was a great addition. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Not sure if we will return.
Delish!! Had dinner here an…. Delish!!Had dinner here and the wood fire patio pizza was Devine. Good size portion, nice presentation. Also had their homemade cheesecake and be prepared to ohh and ahh! Simple amazing!!
Nah. Disappointed, had a lunch with my parents from out of town, wanted to try something new, wish I hadn’t. Service atmosphere and food, only mediocre, won’t go back. Also overpriced for what you receive
Love it!. I’ve come here a few times. Fantastic bread (they will sell you loaves). Great pizzas, and the caesar salad was wonderful. I love the atmosphere. Service is always friendly.
