Should have known better. My mother had stopped to eat here with a friend and ended up with a gift certificate. She had ordered a seafood pasta, which when it arrived didn’t contain half of the seafood listed in the menu so she was given a gift certificate. About a year ago we stopped by to use it and were turned away because we did not have a reservation. Tonight I made sure to make a reservation, but to my astonishment we didn’t need one. We were litterally the only customers in the entire restaurant. Typically we never stay at a restaurant if there aren’t other customers as it isn’t a good sign, but we had planned to give it a second chance because we had the gift certificate. There were three of us we ordered the Ceaser salad to share as a starter. It was pretty sad. So much so one of us asked if this was actually a Ceaser salad. All three of us ordered the veal parm, which tasted good. The sauce was nice and the meat was tender, but the quantity was pathetic. The amount of veal totalled between the three of our plates is less than what one person would get anywhere else! The price for this dish was way too high!I recommend looking for another restaurant. The food was 3/5, price was 1/5 and service was 3/5.
We ate dinner at Cibo Osteria the other night. We sat on the patio to enjoy the nice summer breeze. We both had the wood fire pizzas and they were absolutely delicious! The wait staff are very friendly and the service was fast. A great dinner on a nice patio. We will be back again.
So far I was told there were gluten free options when I made my reservation tonight. When I arrived it turns out I have one option and only one option. The server was rude. Took 40 minutes to get my salad, she took my glass without offering me another drink and generally had made me and my food allergy feel completely unwelcome here. I haven’t received my one option yet but I have a feeling I will be here and very long time. I have eaten here before I was diagnosed and was treated very very wellBut tonight I am not worth the effort.
