Small Portions. I tried the fish and chips there for the first time because I always heard such good things about it. The fish and chips itself was good but for the price I paid I was extremely disappointed with the portion size that I had got. I definitely wouldn’t go back if you want more bang for your buck. Overall decent.

Good food. We ordered the Halibut Fish and Chips – it was good, the coleslaw was nice and fresh, just too tiny, the mushy peas were good, the tea was really good. It’s not always possible to get a good cup of tea! It’s not cheap to eat there and the plates could be a little bigger, but it was good. The service was very excellent! This is a little restaurant, a bit old inside and not fancy and not a lot of parking I think. Otherwise, we would go back to eat there.
Nice place for lunch. This place is somewhat hidden and unassuming. (The exterior is very drab and the interior is also a little drab lol). But once you get a chance to eat what’s here, I’m sure you’ll agree with me that it’s a solid fish and chip place.Nothing soggy or too greasy. Good stuff.
Grimsby’s best English style Fish & Chips!. Their Halibut is absolutely heavenly. Fresh, English style fish & chips at their best. Huge portions and great value for the dollar spent. Whether eating in or taking out, there is no excuse not to try this hidden treasure – you will be glad you did!
