I went there with 4 friends, and the service was horrible, the place was empty, there was 2 other tables and that was it. It took forever to get our drinks, the food wasn’t good, and the waiter barely checked on us. I will never go there again.
Amazing!!. We ate dinner here twice and will continue to go back! The food was amazing< the service was great and so was the atmosphere! We had peppered steak with goat cheese and it was sooo delicious it would melt in your mouth! The nachos with extra cheese are the best we've ever had! We will definitely be back! Love this place! It leaves me craving more 🙂
Don’t go for lunch!. My husband and I went for lunch today. We had one hour for lunch before gong back to work, which in fairness should have been enough time. It was not busy at all–booths and tables open everywhere. We ordered off the lunch menu specials because we wanted to have some extra time for commuting. After we got our drinks, we waited forty five minutes and got no response from the waitress and the table beside us who had come in after us finally got their food. We were about to walk out when I finally was able to flag the waitress down and ask if they forgot about us lol. She said the lunch would be ready in two minutes. Several minutes later, I flagged down another staff member (who stated he was the owner) who finally was able to bring the food. It left us five minutes to eat lol.I mentioned our disappointment to the manger about the absurd timing of the meals. He agreed, and offered a free dessert. Well, obviously if timing was the issue we wouldn’t have another thirty minutes to spend waiting for a dessert!?!? I said we had to go, and he too $5.00 off the meal, which didn’t even cover the costs of the sodas.I can’t see going back any time in the near future
Horrible. Food is not that great, service is not that great, just an overall horrible place to eat or drink. Try one of the many other restaurants nearby on Woodlawn Road, you will be happy you did.
Do NOT eat here.. This is truthfully the worst restaurant I have ever been to. And I am not speaking for all Crabby Joe’s, JUST for Guelph. Not only was our food cold, it tasted horrbile. Upon telling the manager (Julie) about the food, she wanted to do nothing but argue that we were wrong. After arguing for a discount for the food that we were definitely not going to eat, she proceeded to glare at us while we finished up our drinks. She then decided to make comments as myself and some friends walked out the door, accusing us of having been there before and complaining about her food. That was not us. So clearly she has had issues before and has mistaken us for other customers. After telling her that her comments are VERY unprofessional and very rude, she just continued to fight with us. We left and told her we would never be back again and we would be sure to inform everyone we knew about the service we recieved there. I’ve never had issues with restautants before. Sure sometimes things aren’t great, but nothing like this place. I advise everyone NOT to eat at Crabby Joe’s. Don’t waist your time and money, or ruin your evening. There are plenty of other restaurants who want customers and want them to be happy!
