Not my favorite sushi place in Guelph but definitely not the worse. I’ve been here 3 times for AYCE and each time the service was lovely. The first two times the food was awesomely fresh and tasty with generous cuts of salmon. However, the last time I went the rolls were significantly smaller with lots of cucumber/visibly less fish. Still really yummy but just a bit disappointing compared to past experiences. If you plan on visiting sometime soon, ask to be seated away from the doors as it can get quite cold close to the front of the restaurant.
We loved this. Everything was so fresh. Great balance of flavours. We chose the AYCE menu, and they didn’t skimp at all. I know that often at the AYCE places, they offer lots of other deep-fried and filling options so you eat less fish, and if you do order anything with fish, it’s very thinly sliced. Not so here. There are items other than sushi, of course, but not so many that it seems like you’re at an international buffet. Sashimi portions were generous, sushi pieces were a good balance of rice and topping. Would definitely recommend. Service was fast and helpful.
