Amazing breaky. I have come to love having breaky at Symposium. The Eggs Benjamin is fabulous, though I typically go for a simple bacon/egg order. The service is very good. This place is always busy during the weekends but the staff keep on top of things. It gets pretty loud in there so caution to those suffering from a hangover. lol. My only gripe, it tends to be a little on the pricey side but then again, this is no greasy spoon.
I adore this place. Have been eating here for a few years now. I’m never disappointed. I really love their frozen martinis and their broccoli cheese soup is delicious (as well as huge!) their prices are good and their staff have never been an issue. Their cakes are insanely large and absolutely to die for. Good for any meal or drinks with friends. My friends and I use this place as our go to meeting spot.
Finally had to leave!. Me, my wife and our 2 year old son wanted to have some breakfast (eggs and bacon) we sat down at 1pm and had ordered by 1:10pm, we watched people come and go. Then we started to realize that people that arrived to the restaraunt after us were enjoying there meals! So at 1:40pm I asked our server what was taking so long. 1:45pm she comes back and says our food is being platted. 2pm still no food and no word form our horrible server!! Finally we just had to leave! If you are under time constraints I would not go to this place! As for the service, HORRIBLE!!
Love this place!. I have been several times. The food is always good and servers are very friendly.
Food cold. We got fish and chips, honey garlic wings and calamari. All of it was cold and the fried and calamari were stale. The cake we got was stale too. The symposium in London is much better
Took too long to get food and not that great. We have ate at the Symposium in Ancaster and Hamilton they are wonderful restaurants!!! thought we would try Guelph, had dinner with 6 other people, meal was very late in coming, waitress didn’t remember who had what, sent one meal to the wrong table, and service was poor. Food was not neatly presented on the plates either. will not go back to the Guelph one
