What you see is what you get, and I’ve never been disappointed at Vienna. They are a Guelph staple when all these fancy places are popping up all over town like a yuppie foodie plague. If you want good down to earth service and food at a more than fair price without needing to put on a suit and tie, go to Vienna for lunch (pretty sure they close at 3 every day). I go there at least twice a month for a quick lunch.
Simply amazing. I will admit: I am a Vienna regular. That in itself should speak volumes about this restaurant because I consider myself to be rather selective when it comes to food.I love the old school, dive like vibe of Vienna. The service is top notch and friendly, the food is inexpensive when compared to most other spots in town, the food arrives quickly and without frills.I would recommend this place to anyone!
Horrible Service. What can we say about the food at Vienna? Nothing. We never got to eat. We waited for half an hour to be seated, waiting for them to put tables together to accommodate the 6 of us. Other parties were seated before us and they didn’t keep the free tables to seat us although we were already waiting. Apparently the owners were waiting for this one couple to free a table 30 min after they received their bill. They gave other tables that they could have made for us and seated other parties. When we asked them, they said they were regulars. Our friends who invited us there eat at Vienna every Sunday. We had a very pregnant woman in our party and a little kid. With service like we will for sure tell anybody we know NOT to go there. We headed to Cora. One can’t get disappointed there.
Love it. The place has been there for over 50 years. Strange this was my first time there. I love the home fries. Some cute ways of cooking a few items. I could see there are a lot of regular customers.. Service was great. Decor was up-kept 60’s with old area pictures on the wall. Parking was free and just outside the door..
