If you are looking for an incredible schnitzel sandwich then don’t go anywhere else! I love their Schnitty sauce when I get their salad. These guys have a great sense of humour and they are excited to help you create anything you can think up. Awesome deep fried Oreos, best late night snack ever!
When I stopped by for lunch, this compact but stylish, mostly take out place was busy with U Guelph students, local business people and what looked like tech nerds. Everyone was warmly welcomed and helped with the menu which is surprisingly challenging for first timers (but in a good way). I had the oozing Schnitzel (with cheese) and the chipotle mayo added just enough kick. All patrons said the food was great. Fries (I passed) were reported to be excellent. This place catersto late night, post drinking hunger ravaged students but did not give this mid-40s professional any concerns. No weird stickiness on the floor or odd smells wafting. I will bring my kids when next in Guelph. I may book another meeting just to have an excuse to try a Gorilla Cheese. Give it a shot…just don’t go if you are dieting.
