NOT HAPPY!. The spring rolls were very greasy. The hot and sour soup did not have any spice to it. It is more like sweet and sour soup. I thought it was a mix up but when I called they assured me it was right. The general Tsao’s was like nothing I have ever had. It was more like a ginger chicken and had no spice to it what so ever. The sweet and sour sauce for the chicken balls was very runny and not tasty at all and the tomatoe and beef had no flavor to it at all. When I called to complain, mainly thinking I got the wrong order, the staff would not listen to what I had to say they just took everything I said very offensivley. I am extremely upset that I spent $50.00 and liked nothing I ate. BIG WASTE OF MONEY!16 Feb, 2014NOT HAPPY. The spring rolls were very greasy. The hot and sour soup did not have any spice to it. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!. MSG laiden-corn starchy-crap. Slimy. Just don’t.
Not good. We normally don’t order from here but we decided to try it tonight.Spring rolls very greasy with huge chunks of par-cooked celery and shrimp inside. The general’s chicken was very odd I think they made ginger chicken not sure if it was a mistake or that’s what they think it is. It almost tasted like a cereal that I used to eat as a kid. Pork fried rice was ok, chicken balls were fine but the red sauce was very runny. We would not order from this place again.
Great food, big portion!. Went to Georgetown to visit friends.. feeling for some local chinese.. bumped into this.. Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurant in Georgetown! Their Chicken Ball is SERIOUSLY second to none!! Gosh, the Singapore Rice Vermicelli.. thinking about it now makes me droool.. Wife had the fillet mignon (spelling? something along those lines).. very pleased, juicy and tender! a MUST TRY if you guys are heading into this restaurant. We also had takeaway once and very pleased with the service and portion. will definitely come back again. Internal decoration have room for improvements.
Pretty simple. Pay huge $$$$ for crap food. Very very crap don’t waste your money.
A regular here . Food is consistent. Place isn’t much to look at but the hot and sour soup or the filet mignon Chinese style are must.
They people are friendly and efficient. The decor needs a serious renovation. It’s decorated in typical family Chinese restaurant. The food is not the same run of the mill stuff like 90% of this type of restaurant. Gotta try Singapore noodles an lemon chicken with their own lemon sauce. Portions are huge too. Enjoy
